About Us
Work Media formed its Law Firm Internet Marketing division in 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee. From the start, it was the company’s intention to be the premier provider of Internet marketing services in the Southern United States. We specialize in helping law firms and service businesses generate leads by attracting targeted traffic to their web sites. This is accomplished using a combination of strategies, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC), content distribution and social media.
In 2009, Work Media relocated from downtown Nashville to an exposed brick wall loft in historic downtown Dickson, a small town about a 45 minute drive West of Nashville. The company numbers six people, counting the founding partners, and is growing rapidly.

Jerry Work, President
Jerry has a diverse background that includes a stint as a financial analyst, a certified .NET programmer, and Manager of Search for the nation’s fourth largest home shopping network. He founded Work Media in 2006. He has authored three books, including the brand new book about social media marketing, Be the Magnet (How to Use Social Media and Content Distribution to Generate Customers and Business Opportunities), and The Law Firm Internet Marketing Book, which has been very well-received in the legal community. He lives on a farm with his wife, Wendi, and kids Logan (6) and Lizzie (3).
Chris Work, Partner
Chris, the former Director of Internet Marketing at a large advertising agency specializing in law firm promotion, joined Jerry in 2007. He co-authored The Law Firm Internet Marketing Book and is one of the most experienced law firm Internet marketers in the country.
